Butterfly Beach Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"Butterfly Beach Hotel staff is very helpful and courteous. The hotel itself is great the room is spacious and offers you amenities to do your own breakfast if you want to cut expenses on restaurant food"
"I had a mixed experience during my stay. On the positive side, the location was excellent, the rooftop bar was great, and the staff were friendly. However, I was disappointed by the overall operational processes, which felt far inferior to other properties in the Indigo brand.
The check-in experience was particularly laborious; after a long day of travel, arriving at 11:00 PM to be told I had to download a registration form via email or WhatsApp was frustrating. While the room itself was nice, the water temperature was only lukewarm. The checkout process was also cumbersome—despite having my card details on file, I was required to physically present the card for payment, followed by two subsequent transactions to resolve the authorization hold. Additionally, I was informed that I could not earn loyalty points because I booked through Expedia, which has never been an issue for me at other locations. I expected a much more seamless experience at this caliber of hotel."
"Loved it, very peaceful. Everything quieted down after 10:30 which was great. Wild monkeys right onsite that didn’t bother us at all but we could watch. Always beach chairs available and staff ready to spring up an umbrella or bring a fresh beverage. Only downfall was limited restaurants onsite included with stay. And those that were was limited on visits or you’d have to pay. At least the buffet that was included was good and always different meals. Would come again."
"This resort was perfect for a family of four. The resort was accessible and convenient to all tourist areas on the island. The staff were very helpful, respectful and accommodating. The resort has its own restaurant called Pure Ocean which was very convenient as well. Unfortunately, not all activities were available due to shortage of occupancy during the month of May. But during the high peak seasons, they open up more of their daily activities on the resort. I will definitely stay again with kids or without."
