"Everything about our stay at the hotel was excellent, such a great location ! Our room was so lovely and how fun to sleep in a beautiful cave .
All the staff were so helpful and kind from the moment we arrived. Breakfast was delicious and special to have piano music to begin our day .

"Lovely property. You need a car if going to old Matera. Grocery store close by. Pretty grounds and great pool (although like most Italian pools, not heated.) we found easy parking lots near the historic area so it is ok. The photos are deceiving because the spa whirlpool tub is not included - you have to pay 100 euro per couple to use those amenities. That should be made clear in the listing or they shouldn't show the photos. " Cave" hotel room is fun but only a window at door and in bathroom. Very nice breakfast and nice staff."
"Room was great. Staff did well. Overall good but a lot of the advertising is not correct. Air conditioning did not work well; there’s no onsite laundry; the bar / lounge and deli is really the front desk selling a few items. This is not a staff issue - all were great. This is a structural problem with management. "
