The owner, Fabiana, is very kind and full of advice on what to see and where to eat.. don't hesitate to ask! We had asked for gluten-free breakfast for one of the guests, and Fabiana made a delicious different gluten-free cake each morning."

"Beautifully restored castle. Lots of attention to detail with furnishings and decor. etc. Atmospheric. Limited dinner menu very expensive and not very good. Breakfast was good. Very surprised that there is no infornation anywere about the castle.
The most unpleasant problem was that the car park is NOT on site it is way below the castle and access is by a very steep set of steps. Difficult with suitcases and for anyone elderly or with mobility problems. Also car park is not secure as it is out...

"Our room was lovely. Great size bathroom & show. Great view of the lake, listening to the water was very soothing. Chairs on balcony were not very comfortable but we still used them daily and it would be nice to have a small table out there. Otherwise staff was very nice and accommodating. "
