Casa Manor Boutique Hotel

"We arrived to no electricity which took a while to be restored. This was a scheduled outage on the news, which the hotel failed to inform us about before arriving.
The A/C is set at 24 and you cant lower it. Meanwhile the housekeeping opens the door of the balcony and curtains allowing the sun to hit the room the whole day, so basically we were coming back to a sauna.
The first floor also feels like we’re sitting in the restaurant from how loud it gets.
The pillows are another disaster which kept me from sleeping the whole night. One is extremely thin and basically a concept of a pillow, the other one is wool which would make your head heat up and with A/C being the way it is, you will be so hot the whole time.
Overall i wouldnt recommend the hotel and wouldnt stay in anymore"
"Hotel La Roche is a luxurious and elegant place. The room looked like a small Royal wing with a beautiful view. The staff is/are polite and courteous. Great location; short walk to marina, bars and restaurants; etc. Although the breakfast was wonderful, I was expecting a buffet as I prefer to help myself to be served."

"Overall staff trying hard but needs to be better to be a 5 star in several places. Did we have a good time, yes.
Areas we suggest for improvement
- Charging €4 for literally 2 handfuls of opened crisps in the room. Really for a £230/night room
- breakfast service slow (45 mins for porridge each day); no hot chocolate; no decaf drinks; no one to serve at all for 5 mins+; tea pot without a lid each day
- only 15 rooms but wait 30 mins for some milk in the room
- no hangers at all in the cupboard in either room that we had. On request, given 2 each
- roof terrace not available on 1 night re private party on 1 night. Still not reset 24 hours later
- no attendant or towels in spa on 2/3 days
- asked for a taxi and told that we would need 2 for 4 people. Then relented and said €40. Booked one ourselves for €20
- located on a side road, a very short walk from the sea and the centre, although there’s unfinished construction next door

"NOT WORTH THE MONEY
We picked this hotel as it looked great private beach with sunbeds . Jacuzi on the roof .
None of this is there . The beach is being bilt and is a building site . The spa is at a diffrent a diffrent hitel along qith a pool and they wantbyou to pay for the service. . Not impressed .
Positive the breakfast is verybgood. The location is good . There is beter for value around . "
