"We had a lovely stay. Bit disappointing to find the pool food area was closed, but appreciate the weather wasn’t great. Our room was a little on the small side for a family room as we have a teenager, but was cleaned daily and had all we needed. Food was great and special mention has to go to Ahmed who greeted us all by name every time he saw us…so welcoming and friendly. Bar staff were also great and soon greeted us with knowledge of our drinks. The entertainment venue is a bit dingy and could do with updating, but the team themselves were excellent. We had lovely daily walks along the coastline and loved the hotel cats! All in all a lovely week"

"We arrived at the hotel expecting a relaxing stay, but within minutes everything turned into a nightmare. After checking in and going up to our room, we discovered that my wife had come down with chickenpox. We were honestly shocked and immediately concerned—not just for ourselves, but for the hotel staff and other guests. Trying to do the responsible thing, I rushed downstairs and explained the situation calmly to the manager. I asked if we could check out right away and get a refund, since staying would risk spreading infection. Her response? A flat, instant refusal. No empathy, no concern, nothing. Instead, she told us to just stay in the room until checkout—as if potentially exposing others was acceptable. We were put in an impossible position. Do we stay and risk other people’s health, or leave and lose our money? In the end, we chose to do the right thing and leave immediately. £250 for less than 2 hours, and not even a hint of understanding or basic human decency. Absolutely appalling experience. It’s not just about the money—it’s the complete lack of care for guests and public health. I would strongly advise others to think twice before staying here."
