"The staff was amazing: very professional, friendly, and always willing to help. They really made the stay more pleasant. The gym and sauna, however, were quite disappointing. They are located in a basement area with poor lighting and ventilation, and the equipment is limited and not well maintained. Breakfast was average: not bad, but nothing particularly memorable. The location can also be a concern at night, as it tends to be noisy and doesn’t always feel very safe."

" Positive points: The staff is really helpful! And very professional! The ladies from the SPA were amazing and very helpful and the security guys at the entrance also! (A big thanks to them) Negative points: My stay was disrupted due to a very noisy neighboring guest. There was loud music during the night, and shouting in the hallway. Unfortunately, when I reported the issue and asked for assistance, I was told that no immediate solution could be provided. As a result, I had to change rooms myself, which was quite disappointing !! Things to be improved: (immediately) The cleanliness is terrible! The carpet needs to be cleaned. I believe it has never been properly cleaned, as there are visible dirt marks and a lot of dust. The bathroom, especially the bathtub, should be cleaned every day. The restaurant café / bar area also needs thorough cleaning, including the carpet and the chairs. There is a strong smell of cigarettes, and the air should be disinfected or properly ventilated, as many people smoke and it affects the overall atmosphere. Additionally, in the hallway leading to the rooms, even though the floor is designated as non-smoking, there is cigarette smoke everywhere. Sometimes the smoke even enters the rooms, which is very uncomfortable. The gym is tiny and poorly equipped ! With one big machine and light dumbbells (a 2 stars hotel gym to be honest) "

"They lost my car keys, and my pants , they told me breakfast wasn’t included in my reservation, even though it was, when I ordered food they wouldn’t let me bring it in, they told me I had to eat it past the property line then I could come back. The staff seemed eager to take advantage of the fact I am not a native French or Arabic speaker."

"Who rated this a 4-star hotel??? Awful Oran hotel - not as per advertised 1. No wifi in room AT ALL 2. Was given small room. When confronted horrible reception woman, she said (1) i booked single room (my booking is for Superior Single Room). (2) no rooms available tonight. Showed her my booking. Suddenly by magic, there’s a room! 3. I had to ask what time is breakfast, where etc. information had to be asked and not provided. 4. Lift was Useless! 5. Inside room, rubbish not thrown. There was a used diaper & water bottle in rubbish bin. 6. In bathroom, shampoo bottle left opened and soap from previous guest. Too gross! 7. Breakfast was pathetic Hotel should re-named NIGHTMARE hotel! Expedia & hotel fantazia are L1ars! Description is deceptive and a lie!! People in this hotel do not deserve to work at a hotel. They spoiled my trip! The worst Algerians i’ve met in this trip and i have met really nice ones! They ruin the reputation of Algeria! "

"Ibiris Hotel did exceed my expectations. The staff were helpful and accommodating. Tried to help where they could although would help to have someone who can speak English working there. Breakfast was decent. Well planned. Limited on space but always clean. Rooms were fairly clean and more spacious than I expected based on reviews. Towels could have been a bit cleaner (they were washed but stained) Would have been good to have a cupboard in the room, kettle, iron as basic necessities. Overall however exceeded expectations."
