Michigan Hotels

"Very basic. Bar and restaurant didn’t open until 5 pm. Bummer!! Not stated on hotel information. Waterslide in pool was non-operational. We did not receive enough toilet paper nor towels. Outlets didn’t work. Doors swelled in the frames; you had to heave your whole weight against them to get them open. Staff seemed nice. "

First, there were no towels in the room after checkin, but staff brought them immediately upon call to lobby. Second, at check-in, was delayed approximately thirty minutes as room was not ready but hotel management did comp valet parking fees to offset inconvenience."

"So I must say I was alittle disappointed by the hotel. I thought from the reviews I read it was going to be way more upscale. My check in was smooth and easy I did an early check in due to my early arrival which was okay. The lobby looked decent , however the Dunkin’ Donuts inside was so cleanly, didn’t smell so good and had locals hanging out in the seating area trying to flirt with me. When I reached my room, there was a big laundry cart in it I had to push out into the hallway. The room was accessible for a persons with a wheelchair which is good but since I am not in a wheelchair I had to pull the chair out of the shower. There was no shower door so I had to put a bunch of towels down to stop the water from flooding across the floor. The bathroom however was clean and decent , I did however clean it again to my satisfaction. The room itself was okay , it had a mini refrigerator that looked like someone took a knife and or key and keyed it all over differently a turn off. I kept smelling marijuana and cigarette smoke through the vents which was a negative for me being as though I don’t smoke , thank god I bought room spray I had to keep spraying it throughout my time there. The room was cold it wasn’t till day 2 going into 3 did I learn how to turn off the power and get the heat going . As for the casino I could barely stomach to stay in there long enough with all the cigarette smoke that was going on. The restaurants in the hotels were blah. I ate across the street "
