You could catch an event at Paycom Center, a stadium in Downtown Oklahoma City. Our travelers also like the monuments and museums in the area. If you think Paycom Center is cool, you also might like Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark and Oklahoma City Tennis Center at Will Roger, both located nearby.
"They put us on the top floor at the end of the hallway with no neighbors as requested so it was nice and quiet. The room was nice and clean. Large bathroom and shower. Would stay here again."
"Room was on first floor next to the busy road with no proper curtains to close the windows. Lights from ongoing vehicles kept flashing in the faces all through the night. Water was cut off even before it was time for checkout without any warning. Sofa bed was very bad with no proper mattress. Could literally feel the bed frame. Staff were kind and polite and breakfast was decent"
"We did not get fresh towels until we asked for them. And trash was not picked up - guessing no daily housekeeping available. Coffee in room was not good!
"
"Breakfast was the typical fair with waffles. The hot tub was hot but no bubbles. To be fair, the hot tub was one of the requirements. The rooms were clean and the price was good. We would go there again."
"The hotel’s main areas were nice. However, I was shocked at how run down the rooms were for the price we paid. Our main issue was being woken up about every 45 minutes to hotel guests talking in the halls and opening/shutting their doors. It finally quieted down around 3:30 am. I understand the hotel cannot make guests have respect for others, but the lack of insulation to keep the noise down was terrible. It sounds as if you left your door wide open to hear everything going on in the hall. Not only that but the doors themselves are LOUD! You can hear every time someone in your hall opens or shuts their door. Again, to the point it wakes everyone up. For paying over $300 a night, I would have hoped I could have gotten to actually sleep for the night. "
Sightseeing doesn't mean you have to blow the budget. For some things to do in Oklahoma, enjoy the outdoors at Turner Falls or Lake Texoma. Be certain a visit to Tulsa Expo Center is in your plans.
