"This is my third stay at VRI. I love this place … clean, cozy, wonderful atmosphere, great food, and the best riverfront walking path on the west coast. My son attends U of O and we will stay here at every opportunity."
"I left a water bottle in the room and didn't realize it until we were an hour down the road. The hotel either kept it or threw it away. I am back home, cleaned out the car, not here. I know I left it at the hotel, it was left on the table near the large windows, and I'm disappointed they didn't let me know they had it. I was going to send money to have it shipped home to me, but the hotel staff did not want to help me. I had to text 3 times to finally get a response that they threw it away. Or kept it. Oh and neither window opened in the main room. Both were broken."
"We just stayed there for a week and plan to go back again in a few months. The inn was terrific, clean, well kept but most of all the staff was so helpful!

"The property makes most of Astoria walkable and there is easy parking. The hotel has some age, is worn in places, but comfortable and kept as clean as possible. I would stay there again. For the cost compared to the other places, you can’t beat the location. The bed was comfortable."

Breakfast was a nice plus, but hot foods not restocked quickly(ran out of scrambled eggs right before I had the chance to get any(@7:20am). Sat down and finished my breakfast which included toasting a muffin(about 10 mins). Left the dining area with no scrambled eggs being replaced. (Make smaller batches?)
Maintenance could use a bit of work. Toilet in my room was terrible at flushing, and bathroom fan as noisy and vibrated a lot.
Overall though, one of the nicest Hotels I've stayed at in Seaside. Would stay there again."
