"Accomodation was larger than it looks in the photos, which was a nice surprise. The beds were comfortable, however I would take earplugs as I struggled to sleep due to the cars going past outside. I had to go and buy some from the town centre. At night the cars whizz past really fast. The listing states that there is free parking but this isn’t true- you have to pay for it. I have asked Hotels.com to amend this as it’s false advertising. The reason we booked this hotel was for the free...

"This was a fabulous experience to stay at Florence Nightingale’s summer home. A most beautiful and historic house in its own grounds ( Nightingale Park) and a delightful family home. We were made most welcome and enjoyed our stay very much."

"The room was very clean with amenities you would need. The bathroom was well stocked, with lots of hot water. All the staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfasts were the best I have anywhere, you had a tray of cereal, fruit, fruit juices and pastries and an additional hot breakfast with lots of tea and coffee. There is free parking across from the family tree, you have to take care when crossing to it. Thank you for a lovely stay."
