"Well kept and quiet hotel in the middle of the historic town center. Beautiful views of either the stone streets or Mt. Etna. Room and bathroom were extremely clean. "Il Sentiero was a wonderful surprise. It is a very serene and picturesque agriturismo with tons of olive and lemon trees. Owner/operator Salvo is a very hospitable and lovely person. We chose to eat there each evening, and he never failed to provide us with tasty meals. We highly recommend this place for visitors to the Catania area. It is located about 40 minutes north of the airport, close to an autostrada exit, and is convenient for visiting places such as Mt. Etna, Taormina, and Messina."

"The hotel has fantastic views across the bay and also when it’s clear, of Etna. It perfectly located if you want to go up Etna, as only 30 mins away and also good for day trips to Taormina. Our room was comfortable, and the breakfast was good and varied. We also used the spa and pool facilities both days, which was good but you need have to have a swimming hat, which you can purchase there.
