"At the end of our Sri Lanka holiday we decided to spend a bit more on our Unawatuna hotel & were not disappointed. We had large rooms with loads of space, kitchen, really comfy beds, excellent views from our balconies. The staff were helpful & the pool lovely. We did book nicer rooms that some there & didn't eat so can't comment on the food. It's a bit of a walk or a short Tuk Tuk ride to the main tourist area or a beach but that also means it's quiet there."

"What an amazing place, 5 star luxury, the hotel grounds are pristinely, you have your own beach (as its difficult to get to unless you have hotel access. Great pool, the food is the best we had in Sri Lanka, they serve different types of Sri Lankan breakfast that you can try, like egg hoppers and sting hoppers with curry and dhal. "We had a great stay. The villa is surrounded by trees and is isolated yet not too far from the main roads. Our room was spacious and clean. The villa can rent out scooters and exchange money. The pool is huge. We were given space, but the staff was there when we needed them, and they were very friendly. "

AC kostet 1000Rs pro Tag extra, etwas viel. Frühstück durchschnitt. Etwas liebevoller im Allgemeinen und weniger Buisness Gedanken des Inhabers würde die Stimmung noch steigern."

"Secret Garden is a lovely,quirky,relaxed place to stay at Unawatuna Beach. The staff are amazing and make you feel totally welcome. You are staying in a beautifully maintained jungle type garden with resident squirrels, various birds and the friendly happy dogs. We would certainly stay again."

"The house has a good location, easy to access the beach. The owner is super kind and helpful, we are vegan and asked for a vegan breakfast, they made every day different options and lots of fruits. So well done. The location provides a good view to the sea, and there are a lots of wild animals, also visiting the garden. It's also an experience. Overall its a good place."
