The most central location you could have in Newport - the bus garage was right next door which took us to all the tourist locations that I would recommend - the needles, shanklin beach, carisbrook castle and the garlic farm. The guesthouse also has an excellent Thai restaurant downstairs, great food, really delicious and great price. "I had the bed, breakfast and dinner option, although there was a reduced menu for the option there was still a good selection, all of the food including the breakfast was fantastic. The room was a good size but the outdated and damaged furniture let it down slightly. The evening bar staff were above and beyond in the level of service i received. Will definitely stay here again"

"We were happy with everything. As well as the usual clean, warm, welcoming etc. It was also the small touches - handmade shortbread gift, a small fridge in the room containing drinking water and fresh milk. Also reasonable toilet roll! "

"There were two restaurants near one Greek and one Latin American we tried the latter and it was good, the Greek one was closed Monday. Staff were welcoming, small family run hotel so personal. Nice bar area. Breakfast was included (continental) but they did offer boiled eggs or bacon bap or sausage bap in the morning."
