"This was a real gem. I had a single room but the bed was bigger than a regular single bed and was very comfy too. The facilities in the room were excellent and classy, including a shower that had a fine array of options and was switched on by a remote control, a first for me! Breakfast was in a lovely room and the table settings were, again, very classy. The host was gracious and accommodating including setting breakfast for me early on the day I left. All in all, I recommend highly."

"Very nice private beach. Rooms - we had a bungalow- are totally ok, yet need a refresh/update. Breakfast was very good, friendly stuff, non problem at all to stay longer even though bf ended at 10am. We enjoyed our time at Il Pelagone- many thanks!"

"The hotel staff were very nice and helpful. The breakfast is fantastic with everything you could want. The room was spacious, had a nice balcony, the shower was excellent, the AC worked great and the bed was comfortable. The beach is a one minute walk along with several nice restaurants. We have been in France and Italy for four weeks and this is the nicest hotel we have stayed in."

"We absolutely loved our stay at Valdonica. The views are breathtaking, the pool area is extraordinary, the restaurant serves the best food we’ve has in Italy so far. The breakfast was delicious and it was amazing ro sit on the patio and enjoying the view! Manuela made sure we had everything we need and took extra good care of us. "This place was so nice, clean and quiet. Just what I was looking for. It has been updated with all the latest things and even has a coffee maker and kettle for your use at any time during your stay in a shared hallway. I had a little balcony that I got to watch the sunset every nice which was lovely. Even better was the host as she helped me with some of my needs that I asked her for. I feel she went way above what she had to for me. I would stay here again if I were to visit Follonica again. "
