"The rooms were clean, the pool was sublime, the facilities had complete kitchen and fridge as well as washer and dishwasher. We booked a superior room and they had prepared the sofa bed for our child too. The breakfast was amazing as well as security was top notch. I wished we had known about the wine tasting as that would have been perfect if we didn’t have to venture out to Franschoek or other parts of Stellenbosch. Also the views of the mountains and golf course was just breathtaking. Highly recommended. "

"The Protea Hotel Tyger Valley was Magical. In the perfect location with breathless views of the entire city of Cape Town including the beautiful Table Mountains. The hotel room was exceptionally clean and neat with everything one needs soft cozy beds and the best sheets silky and soft. The staff were amazing from the speedy check in with a wonderful reception from Busiswe and Mpho. The resturant was amazing the food delicious I started with the Calamari which was so soft tender and juicy. The server Melanie was exceptional so helpful and kind and caring. Providing exceptional care and information about Cape Town. The Hotel was in perfect distance form the downtown area an Uber was a quick ride to all the perfect spots. " We had the most incredible stay at Mont Rochelle! We were staying for our honeymoon and it was our first stay in our 2 week trip and now that the 2 weeks is up I can confidently say that we stayed in 4 5* hotels during our stay in Cape Town and Mont Rochelle was by far the best, a league above the rest. We were very kindly upgraded to a suite for our honeymoon, the most beautiful room with the most incredible view of the mountains and surrounding landscape. The amenities and views with this room were brilliant, we cannot fault it, being upgraded to this beautiful room just gave us the most amazing start to our honeymoon, we were on cloud 9. The breakfast was lovely, food very fresh, we particularly enjoyed the yogurt and compote each morning with fresh fruit. We had the tasting menu at Miko which was incredible. The staff were incredible, all staff we encountered were very friendly, welcoming and couldn’t do enough to help, Winston who attended the pool bar was very attentive and friendly and always making sure we had what we needed. Sia who drove the transfers into the town was also very friendly and welcoming, sharing recommendations and knowledge about the surrounding area. this hotel really goes the extra mile to make this a special stay for guests This hotel is an experience in itself, it is the perfect hotel for honeymoon because you don’t have to even travel out of the hotel to get amazing relaxing experiences, "
