"Such a charming old hotel with lots of history. Comfortable sleep and wonderful breakfast included in a huge dining area. However there are no elevators and our room was in 2nd story so not wheelchair friendly"
"We were in Hummingbird, a lovely room. View of the water over the train station. Easy walk to many restaurants and the kilometers-long Pictou seaside walk. House has been beautifully and lovingly restored. Hummingbird is at the top of the stairs, but was still very quiet. Couldnt hear other guests at all.
Hosts very nice and helpful. Breakfast egg bennys anf fresh fruit salad great"
"A slight hiccup with a dead battery caused a delay in getting into the room but staff responded quickly considering maintenance had to be brought in on a Friday night. Otherwise, great place for an overnight stay. Clean, comfortable with very good in-room amenities. Decent self-serve breakfast options. And very close to the Trans-Canada highway. "
"Renovated rooms very nice, large rooms. Good breakfast. Nice pool with large slide. Close to several restaurants and ferry to PEI. Guest laundry available. "
"Good location right next door to Tim Horton’s! Lots of restaurants and shopping nearby. Room was comfortable and the bathroom was very clean. Front desk service was great! "
"This is an excellent budget hotel. We were surprised to find a kitchenette and used it. Our room was very clean and surprisingly quiet. It also had a new heat pump ac."
