"This hotel setting reminded us of a Poirot setting. It was elegant, peaceful and the staff were very nice. We only stayed one night and did not get to enjoy dinner but the restaurant looked quite beautiful. Breakfast was quite a spread with the most delicious options. This hotel is about 35 minutes to Gorges du Verdon and a few more minutes to Moustiers-Sainte-Marie which are both a must see!"

"Best location, minutes from Castellane town center by foot. Accommodations are good but not a very private camping. All lots are corded side by side with minimal space but considering the proximity to activities no need to spend anytime at campsite other then sleep. Everything was functional and clean with mobile home."

"Le Moulin de Chateau was an ideal location to stay during our trip through the Verdon area. The hotels in Moustiers-Sainte-Marie were booked, but Le Moulin turned out to be an even better option. "These folks are busy and Vincente still makes a very nice breakfast. The pizza at the truck down the road is a great option for dinner on the terrace. Check out the unusual goats next door and the Spar market has WARM baguettes in the morning across the street. Ask for “Une baguette, s’il vous plait” and enjoy! This lodge was MUCH further than I expected on extremely windy roads from Cannes and through Grasse but it was beautiful. The Val du Saint Thierry has a great farmer’s market on Sunday...
