"Dissapointing, unpleasant smell and a dated interior. Good location, but very dated, raw brick interior with an unpleasant smell inside the rooms. Online pictures of the property didn't match the reality. Interior of the rooms and bathroom had a dusty/mouldy smell, not I think from any lack of cleaning but more from the old fit out and build up of dust and damp in the exposed brick mortar and old grout joints between tiling. "We have stayed at Rivergardens many times over the past 7 years. We absolutely love how close it is to the river. They have a boat ramp that is easy access for our kayaks and they have a ton of space to lay in the grass in front of the river. There are so many types of birds fluttering around in the trees and a ton of action to watch on the river. Staff is always friendly and helpful. "
