"The Long Creek Hotel is a good place to stay. It is close to the Maine Mall and also South Portland. It used to be a Hampton Inn and is being remodeled into a Hilton. Clean rooms, a pool, an exercise room, and a friendly staff. The hotel is being updated and in some places is a little threadbare. Nice staff, decent self service breakfast, and close to things. Reasonable winter rates. A good place to stay. "

"This is an absolutely fabulous gem of a hotel. We were only there one night, but everything was superb. The room was lovely with a beautiful view (a bay view room). The shower was a highlight. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The best amenity was the town car available to shuttle us around downtown. Looking forward to staying longer next time!"

"My wife and I had a wonderful time staying at The Weldon Hotel - a beautiful new property. Very nice layout, spacious, comfortable, and well-equipped. They pretty much thought of everything. They even had a turntable with some eclectic, cool albums. Easy walk to waterfront, shopping, and great eats. We were happy to trade very comfortable space with furnished kitchen vs full-service hotel with musty rooms. We will definitely stay here again when visiting Portland. "
