"Staff is super friendly and flexible; it is a family owned and run business; they make you feel part of the family; town is super cute and one of the examples of "Fachwerk" houses I have seen in Germany. Also steeped in history. The castle was a seat of one of the most important rulers of Germany. Definitely worth a visit and overnight stay. Great dinner options in the old town center."

"As a big chain hotel, we generally knew it was going to be a good familiar choice. We loved the surroundings and found the Bikini ART Museum attached to the hotel to fun addition. Lots of parking available as well as a gas station, variety store and restaurant. Check-in was a bit slow because we had to input our information into a tablet ourselves."

"Es war im grossen und ganzen angenehm. Sehr sauber, hübsch eingerichtet und gepflegt - jedoch die Matratzen viel zu weich, so richtig durchgelegen. Die Kissen zu dünn und zu klein. Frühstück war sehr gut und der Service auch. Wir sind ausserhalb der Öffnungszeit angekommen und haben eine rechte Zeit gewartet, bis jemand gekommen ist, um uns reinzulassen. Der Besitzer hat uns gefragt, ob wir im Mail keine Info hatten über den direkten Zugang und den Code für den Schlüsselsafe. Diese Info hätte...

We used the gym and bar. We had 2 rooms booked for our family of 4 and enjoyed the space each room provided. The staff on reception and in the bar were very friendly and the housekeeping staff were courteous and smiling. A great stopover"

"Die Umgebung schön und ruhig. Leider war das Bett eine Katastrophe. Die Matratzen haben ihre besten Jahre hinter sich. Wir sind als Paar angereist. Das Bett war zwei Einzelbetten zusammen geschoben. Mein Partner lag wesentlich tiefer weil er so tief in der Matratze eingesunken ist. Kissen würde ich auch als solche nicht bezeichnen. Mehr wie eine Nacht hätte ich da nicht schlafen können. "
