Right across a small street from the lovely lake & promenade, and it’s of restaurant choices on the main square, just steps away!! My room, 206, had a small balcony with 2 chairs overlooking the lake. The ferry was only 10 minutes walk away."

"Everything was fabulous at Locanda Della Maria The room was spacious with extra pillows and washcloths Weather was against us but we made the most of it Breakfast was delicious and the staff are so welcoming and helpful Laura helped us to maneuver the ferry and how to get to Lugano Switzerland due to Como being flooded and even offered to drive us Did not realize the hotel was 20 minutes walking from the ferry port but we managed Taxis and uber are expensive but there is a bus "

"Best Hotel we saw online at the beginning of lake Como/Colico. Our choice was def the right one. When we met Barbara it wad clear she renovated the Rooms cause unlike many italian Hotels the were the perfect Mix or italian style mixed with modern elements. Too bad her restsursnt was closed. Will be back to try the food there.. She was also very helpfull with all our requests/questions.."

"Giuseppe and his little bed and breakfast was a breath of fresh air! I recommend staying in a little town near the “main 3” Lake Como cities. Lierna was a perfect place to stay. This little B&B is convenient to the train station and water walkway. The food was delicious and we enjoyed the company and recommendations. "

"When you walk into the courtyard at the Palazzo you know you are somewhere special. Arianna is very welcoming and speaks very good English. The La Vista room we chose was simply amazing. Six big windows letting the light stream in and giving us fantastic views out over the Lake. The room was beautifully decorated and furnished and was spotlessly clean. The Palazzo has a lot of history and this is explained in the very useful information book in the room. The hotel has a private deck area right...

"Location was amazing with the lake in your front yard, gelato, pastries and food everywhere. Boat and scooter rentals very close by. Ferry stop right down the street. Menaggio was ideal for our family vacation."
