Saigon Exhibition and Convention Center is worth a pic or two when discovering District 7. It's also full of great shops and restaurants, so you can spend the afternoon having a wander.

Hotel Majestic Saigon
8/10 Good
"Great location. Hotel lobby was stunning. We had a room on the 4th floor which was a really spacious room, sort of designer old fashion, but the downside was the noise of chairs dragging across the 5th floor restaurant and bar above. Ok, it was quiet between about midnight and 6am but was still a disturbance. That said when this was raised they offered a different room, so no real complaints.
Staff overall were pleasant.
Great location"
"Fast & easy check-in at midnight. Good sized room. Welcomed with plate of fruit and water in the room. Nice touch. Interesting space (no exterior window) but actually worked. Not as bad as it would seem. Can hear people talking in the hallway at times but ok otherwise. VERY LOVELY breakfast rooftop space and delicious offerings! Would go back just for this! Nice afternoon tea spread included in price as well! Great value. Good location. "
"Water and coffee/tea complimentary in-room. Smallish room & bathroom but good enough for one night before flight. Quiet. Did not have breakfast or use facilities (rooftop pool & restaurant). Starbucks onsite. Seemingly many food options but didn't try. Good location 5 mins from airport with free shuttle every half hour. "
"Initially, our room smelled and the AC did not work properly. This was unacceptable and we requested another room. My girlfriend and I expected a 5 star hotel to be inspected prior to guest's arrival. This should be standard procedure especially at a 5 star hotel.
Maid service for the room was the best part of our stay. Breakfast was nicely prepared and the quality of the food was above average. Some notable and concerning issues were as follows.:
1) One night after dinner outside of the hotel, we were stopped by security when trying to return to our room. My girlfriend was a registered guest under my reservation. However, security wanted my girlfriend to registered at the lobby implying that she was a prostitute. We were both shocked and extremely offended. This is UNACCEPTABLE!!
2) We requested a bucket of ice and two wine glasses. This should be standard and should be included in the room rate as part of staying at this hotel. The staff charged us 1 million VND for ice and two wine glasses. This is egregious in so many ways.
My overall recommendation is that there many other hotels in Saigon that are better suited for guests wanting a peaceful, respectful and relaxing experience without feeling the way we felt.
Hotel management should review their standard operating procedures and re-train their staff to show respect to all guests and provide clear guidelines on what services are included in the overall cost.
I do not recommend the Reverie hotel in Saigon.
