"Decent hotel after a long flight before setting out on adventures the next day. Comfortable bed. A/C was old and very loud, had to wear earplugs to sleep. Shuttle back to airport was not ‘every hour on the hour’ as I was originally told. That was a bit frustrating and cost me an extra $20 to take an Uber. So it’s not great when you can’t rely on the shuttle service. "
"The indoor pool was nice. Our stay was a few days, so we utilized the lounge and kitchen in the lobby. There was plenty of seating and multiple tv's for my teenage son and I to chill, although I would have preferred a microwave in our room.
The ice machine was out of order, but we were able to go next door to sister hotel and get ice. The staff offered to go for us, but we took the walk.
Our cozy room was on the third floor, and I was so thankful to see the luggage cart, got it all loaded up, Just to unload and get our steps in. THE ELEVATOR WAS OUT OF ORDER. I am normally a stair taker anyway, but as stated, we had a few days worth of luggage and supplies to haul.
The hair dryer I borrowed from the lobby was also out of order.
I was offered drugs in the parking lot, and multiple times there were folks sitting on the stairs, smoking. Not that it makes a difference, but it wasn't a cigarette or bud..
Overall, we extended our stay multiple days and would stay there again if necessary. The rates are affordable, the staff were all pleasant, all issues were addressed and solved immediately.
We stayed in three different hotels that week, due to travel. This was the cheapest, and the room was a bit smaller, but it was still our top pick.
And it rained all week, so the indoor pool was a bonus!
3 out of 5 for now. It appears to be under new management and going through changes.
