Hotel Pazo de Altamira
10/10 Excellent
"We had a great 3-night stay here. Excellent location—safe, and everything is within walking distance. The staff were very nice and welcoming. Highly recommended!"
"Super great location. Was able to pull up off the street - basically on the sidewalk - and unload our luggage. Also could keep the luggage in the bar area in the morning so we did not have our luggage to the car. Parking lot reasonable close. 17.30 Euros per day.
Our room was lovely - well decorated, super clean, with a nice bathroom and huge TV.
The only draw back was the noise outside was super loud (lots of people - drunk?) - talking with occasional shouting until almost 5:00 AM. Was it because it was a Saturday night? We were very tired, so it didn’t keep us awake that much, but might have been annoying."
"Excellent location! Lots of history in this building. Comfortable beds. Great restaurant, breakfast and bar. Staff very attentive. Room is huge, would benefit from extra lighting in the closet area. Beautiful hotel."
"This hotel is more like a boutique hotel with the amenities of a major one. The person at the front desk was very welcoming and offered information on what to do and places to visit. We even got the room earlier than expected. Very detailed oriented and helpful. The hotel is in a great location near the cathedral, cafes and shopping area. The rooms are immaculate and in great condition. Definitely a place to be. "
"Excellent location, close to the cathedral and many restaurants, yet quite quiet once you close the shutters. The room has modern amenities blended with historic ambience, with stonework and historic features.
Staff is not usually on-site, but they are quick to respond to questions.
This was a perfect debrief to my Camino trip"
"Wasn't able to check-in early or leave bags a hotel. In the morning, there was no receptionist to ask for a taxi or help. But the hotel was clean and close to the center."
