Located on a busy side street, it is within walking distance of the Dotonbori district and several major subway lines, making it easy to explore the rest of the city. Wonderful room, one of the more comfortable of my whole Japan stay. Great amenities, including an in room washer dryer, which was perfect considering I stayed here 1/2 way through my trip allowing me to spend an evening doing laundry while relaxing in the hotel rather than having to locate a laundromat. Room also had enoug space to sit and work at the table, and prepare some gifts for the next leg of my trip!

The property was clean, well kept and comfortable. The rooms were cozy , clean and was perfect for me as a solo traveler. I wish the Air conditioning could be left on while i'm not in the room during the summers but i understand that's how the hotels are in japan
Extremely polite and friendly staff. Room was small but very cute and clean. It had everything, including complementary water every day. Breakfast was ok for us, not too many western dishes for my picky eaters. Location was excellent, 5 minutes walk from the train station and it's on a street with lots of restaurants. Would definitely book it again.
We stayed at a near by hotel for a couples days first and extended our Osaka trip staying at Monterey. We wished we booked here from the beginning!! Nice set up, spacious room. We loved their pillows! Cute decors too. West Exit of Osaka Station from Subways was a little confusing but we got used to it. 7 Eleven was by JR station and one near by. Easy walking distance to a lot of restaurants and Umeda area for shopping and transportation. This will be our hotel for Osaka stay!!
The hotel is in a busy area so it is very easy to find good food. The hotel is easiest to get to from the Osaka train station via its tunnel network. Look for the sigh for Whity section and NOMOKA section of the mall. I remember passing the ibis hotel along the way inside the tunnel. Once back on the street level, go along the restaurant alley and in less than five minutes the hotel is right there. I wish I had this information because trying to go above ground was a mistake due to the divided...
Staff at the front lobby especially Mr. Fu was very helpful and gave lots of tips to make our vacation more enjoyable. The luggage transfer service from our hotel in Kyoto to Elsereine in Osaka was awesome. One thing that the hotel needs is a self service laundry room.
Extremely comfortable place to stay at, Especially during the winter, wasn't bad at all! Beds are great, Table is great, although there is one thing to consider if you're a JR Pass User: Osaka Metro is the only convenient transportation around here, but it doesn't get covered by the Pass at all. If you want to save money, and use the benefits of your pass, I would not recommend staying here. Otherwise, It's a great choice to stay!
Room was very tidy and well organized. I like that personal care needs are provided even sleep wears were provided. The provided facial masks are a treat!
Foreigner friendly, nice onsite spa even though it was small it was clean and well stocked, and central to many shops and around the corner from the Umeda station which was huge and had so many food options
The hotel is in a nice, tucked away location and staff service is exceptional. Rooms are clean, simple and nice breakfast as well. Recommend for basic accommodations and convenience to Osaka station.
