My friend and I (2 women) stayed one night and felt safe and looked after by staff. Our room was large and clean. We felt we were among locals and not in a tourist enclave. The best part was being able to walk to the airport for our morning departure flight with no worries about being there on time due to traffic.
The fact is that I missed my flight on Monday January 13th, 2024 and couldn’t make it to this hotel until Tuesday, I called that Monday to advise of the issue and was given 3/4 of what I spent for that Monday in credit to use at the rooftop bar… That is excellent customer service! Let us note the fact that most of the staff members speak English, all of them are attentive and do care about the work they do.

The stay at Wyndham started off bumpy, but Orlando saved the day. First room- the a/c sounded like a high powered vacuum. So Orlando was able to change my room. The rest of the stay was excellent. Staff is helpful. Best mojito in Cartagena is made on the 13th floor. Reasonable menu too. Uber from the Wyndham to any point of interest is most $3-$4 the most. Glad we selected this hotel.
Staff was absolutely terrific - warm and friendly, and helpful with all of our needs. Made us feel very welcome, and encouraged suggestions how the hotel could do more to make us feel comfortable.

The property is located right next to the beach so the view is captivating. It’s walking distance from everywhere in the walled city. The view is amazing in most direction with the Wall City in the distant. Access to the beach is a block away and never any issue with the property. Will stay here again!

It is a small, beautiful, colonial property with wonderful staff (front desk, doormen, cleaners, waiters). Everyone went out of their way to make me feel welcome and safe. The bfast was very good, the coffee strong (a french press, no espresso), and the restaurant has a good ceviche. Beautiful hotel with amazing staff and amenities. We stayed here for four days and had a amazing experience. Location is great, walking distance to all the city center sights and restaurants.
The rooftop pool was a welcome retreat from the heat and humidity. Never used the indoor pool, as it felt awkward being next to the main desk and dining room.

For me this was in the perfect location, a nice hotel with a friendly staff. Some people complain the room is too small but it is absolutely fine. There's plenty of room to set your bags down and hang your clothes.
