"It is a very nice hotel. Great gym and pool. You could watch the World Cup on a large screen or in your room.
The only down side is that you are 15 min away from old town and the only way to get there is a taxi or Uber. I do think they have a shuttle that goes at certain times."
"The hotel is located in central Ljubiana. The building and facilities are very modern. The hotel is very clean and comfortable. There are lots of excellent hot and cold options to choose for breakfast. The food is very well cooked and replenished regularly. All of the staff on reception, in the bar and at the breakfast service were excellent. Everyone we spoke to were very helpful and polite. The reception staff arranged an airport transfer for us and provided directions to a museum that we wanted visit. Hotel Occidental provides a lovely place to stay with excellent service."
"The hotel is next to an emergency department which could be off putting at first but actually wasn't a problem. Only 15 mins walk away from the centre I found it an ideal location. The rooms are of a good size and have everything you need. The towels are changed daily if needed but the beds are not made. Breakfast is quite basic with cereals, meat, cheese and a couple of hot options, but again was adequate. Would have liked a kettle in the room but overall good for a 3 star hotel."
"Hotel is a 5 minute stroll to the city centre. Rooms are freshly decorated and very comfortable with good bathroom. Staff are excellent and very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very good value while hotel all over spotless"
