"Compact, but perfect for what I needed. Din't find out about the Jacuzzi until the next day - that was dissapointing as I drove to the hot pools and paid for entry when i could have stayed there and used the one on site."
"We booked a spa room and were allocated room #26 which is great and at the back of the property away from road.
Also a plus for us who drive EV car, this motel has 3 chargers to accommodate guests..LOVE IT!
Bedroom is nice and comfy, nice bed with heat pump. Spa room comes with separate shower.
Location is also great, you can park then walk everywhere.
Checkin was easy and quick.
All in all, we will stay here again and would recommend to anyone."
"We liked the view of the lake from the hot tub and from our deck in the morning. We were given proper milk for our coffee in the morning and excellent facilities for our meal in the evening. The size of the room was also excellent."
"Lovely place, your own private mineral spa pool outside your room. King bed, kitchen and bathroom and dining room in our unit. Free access to the 4 outside mineral pools. ranging between 38c and 42c (and a cold dip pool)"
"Taupo is freezing and room took ages to warm up. Air con was very noisy but we needed it on all night to stay warm.
We were disappointed in the hilton, bed was old and uncomfortable, unit was very noisy both with plumbing from above us and some trades, we stayed 2 nights and cups for in room coffee were getting pretty manky. Carpet had big stains on it. Staff were lovely, place easy to get to, lots of complimentary parking, spa,was wonderful. I expected a higher standard because of its rating and also because its a hilton"
