The Ritz-Carlton, Santiago
6/10 Okay
"The hotel is very well located, Las Condes is a beautiful and convenient neighborhood. The staff is friendly, though not exceptionally so. As for the hotel itself, it feels like it has seen better days. The luxury here is somewhat dated and hasn't been well maintained over the years, it's a has-been property, which makes the pricing hard to justify given what you actually get. With some vision and investment, it could easily compete with more modern luxury hotels. For now, though, the price-to-value ratio falls short."
"This hotel is still my favorite one in the area. Nice, big and clean rooms. Their breakfast is really good.
The only part I didn't like was the construction during my stay. After suffering the drilling noise, I requested to get moved to a lower floor. The staff was very helpful about it and the noise level was almost unnoticeable in my new room.
This hotel has a classy European look that I really like. And you don't need to eat out anywhere if you don't want to. The Enebro restaurant is excellent with a great menu for whatever you're craving for.
I'm sure once the construction is finished this will be my hotel of choice again. I really like it. "
"I stayed in a clean and big suite room. The decor seems a bit cold in my opinion and the furniture shows some signs of aging. The bed is very comfortable. However I missed a couch or large seat where to sit more comfortably. The room had enough space for one.
Breakfast was okay. It didn't impress me.
The front desk staff is great! Always willing to help and friendly. I loved them. "
"We loved our stay at Icon Hotel! It’s a great location, right by a metro station, and the neighborhood is lively and safe. The rooftop bar has a beautiful hire, great drinks, and amazing service (especially Marcello!). The onsite restaurant is delicious. Rooms are spacious, have great views, and housekeeping is prompt and excellent (especially Jazmin). "
"Really caring and nice staff, the rooms were up to date and very clean and comforting. They went out of their way to help kids feel comfortable by setting up teepees and tents. Amazing food including breakfast buffet. The pool is very cold and not heated, the terrace faces the street noise and can be unsafe for younger kids. I went to the spa which was fantastic for a facial. Lovely stay I think it is well worth the price. Thank you!"
