"Spa was the biggest disappointment - hamam (steam room) was without steam, jacuzzi with tepid water of 33 degrees Celsius and sauna was off until we showed up so had to wait almost an hour to get temperature to 80 degrees. Polite but helpless spa attendant and hotel staff. "
"Very quiet, almost deserted in mid October, and surrounding area very ready for off-season maintenance. Would be very noisy in the summer because rooms overlook courtyards of bars & restaurants. We had a spacious, tasteful and comfortable one-bedroom unit that would suit a family with two children. But it seemed quite dark in October, no balcony or patio, and cleaning was superficial. Kept wanting to buy some mould spray for the shower but not my job at a hotel! Lovely large bathroom but needs some maintenance and a really good clean. Also be great if the room had a work desk or table and chair/s. Breakfast staff lovely. Disappointed only allowed one omelette between two and no coffee. "
"We had a lovely stay at Biblos. However there is not enough « activities » for adults. For example, a lounge with a pianist or with some soft jazzy music where we can have a coffee or a drink. This would have been really appreciated ."
"My husband and I loved our stay at GAIA Alaçati. This is a small boutique hotel with an eye towards design, offering a minimalistic yet comfortable vibe. The staff are kind and helpful. The breakfast is an amazing spread of flavors and offerings, all locally produced. It is just off the Main Street of restaurants and shops, but far enough that we weren’t bothered by the noise. Be sure to stop in the small gift shop attached, with ‘all things olive’ related. "
