"We chose this hotel primarily for its historical significance. I was expecting it to be in a run down condition but surprisingly it was really good with modern amenities . Infact the check-in and housekeeping were very responsive and nice. The club swimming pool was bit far from the main location. I sincerely wish the Hotel to do much better due to its sprawling campus , grand lobby . The shuttle service is a great value addition considering its far from the main attractions and very convenient to connect to the main red line MRT in 5 mins. They need to improve dining . It was disappointing and the fact that there was no nearby place to go out and have dinner we had no other choice but to rely on hotel dining. I presume the breakfast is good since we did not avail it due to our travel schedule. Overall I would recommend this hotel more for leisure travellers and not business travellers. "
"The room AC was quite strong but responsive. The hotel’s location is not very convenient for general wandering and exploration. It has a shuttle to a Metro station once an hour for a limited amount of time. It only has two laundry machine and dryer sets for the hotel but they require coins so that cut down on usage. The pool seems popular and a lot of tourists use it. it is a long and narrow shape for lap swimming and it can hold a small number of people. The buffet variety and quality is average. "
