"The spaciousness of the garden villa was excellent! Plenty of room to spread out although it was only 2 of us. The 2 bathrooms were convenient with both of us getting dressed. The kitchen had everything we needed including a corkscrew. The A/C is only in the bedrooms, and with the open air concept with shutters, it is not recommended to leave the A/c on with the bedroom door open. That being said, it can get hot. You do have to pay for electricity for anything over your 10kw/day; however, we didn’t even use half of our allowance. We turned the A/C off whenever we left out and we were usually gone most of the day. It did not take long for the bedroom to cool off once we returned and turned it back on. The property was well maintained. The staff was nice. The gym was under renovation. We only ate at the pizza place but it was good and reasonably priced. The property is about 15 minutes from the airport and from downtown, about 20-25 minutes from Mambo Beach."
"The property is very nice and clean and well kept. But it has no televisions and the plu outlets are European style so you will need a converter if you have any electronics that needs charging. Other than those two things 10/10"

"We had an ocean view suite which was very spacious, but 2nd floor doesn’t give much ocean views. Room was clean and cold, but requested housekeeping items via the QR code went unanswered.
The QR code is expected to be used for all information & making dinner reservations at both properties. Each of us could only access a few of the restaurants but not all.
More detailed check-in information would have made our stay better: how reservations work (24 hrs in advance only - 3 seatings a night & order your entire meal at once).
Bar choices were extremely limited (2 beers on tap) no light beer. Bar service was slow, sometimes waiting 10-12 minutes while one bar tender worked very hard.
The sister property - offered outdoor buffet near pool/beach and inside buffet served tables with drinks of choice or you could draw your own draft.
Rif’s pools was huge, clean and had many many chairs & umbrellas; same at beach.
I would book again, but it shouldn’t take 3 days to figure out all the nuances."
