"Room was spacious and really clean. Toiletries were lovely and great if you haven’t brought your own.
Location was excellent, out of the hustle and bustle but a 10 min walk away from busier areas.
The we encountered were fine, but one lady was clearly training so things were a lot slower.
Would have been nice to have the tea and coffee restocked on our second day but we went to reception and they were happy to provide us with extra. "
"Close to the train station the hotel and staff were fine. The area though was a bit seedy. The rooms were big and well appointed. Good for a stopover. "
"Basic but comfortable bar area. Small but well chosen selection of Belgian bottled beers. Good coffee, gratis for guests. Rooms are functional and spotlessly clean. 2 minutes from Brussels Midi station. Very friendly staff. Lots of cheap eats/drinks nearby."

- no free upgrade available when I mentioned hotels.com/expedia gold status (tho rooms were not all booked up)

"An excellently-located hotel for travellers arriving at and leaving from Brussels Midi station, with spacious rooms, very comfortable beds and good bathrooms. Our stay was less than great because of the temperature of the room, which when we arrived was probably in the high 20sºC and as such unbearable. When we told the front desk staff as we left for the evening the solution offered was to switch off the room's heating completely – when we returned the temperature had lowered slightly, but it was only in the small hours of the morning that it was anything like acceptable. The person on check-out the next morning was apologetic that the temperature had been so high."
