"The room was expectedly small. However, the bed in the room had a large pointy wooden bed base that made it hard to maneuver around. I hit my leg multiple times. Also, the carpeting by the bathroom was frayed, the room had a strange odor upon entry, and the bath product receptacles were flimsy and the bottles kept falling off. The staff at the front desk was very nice and helpful.
Very important note: there is parking onsite. However, request a spot on the ground level. Level 1 is nearly impossible to maneuver without scraping your car on the side wall. "
"1st star is for location, it’s right in the city. My room was on the 5th floor so traffic noise was minimal. 2nd star for the reception staff who were friendly and professional. Sadly the room though was an absolute shocker. The carpet was filthy, with huge rips and there was a chair in the room that was disgusting. To be fair, I wasn’t expecting perfection, this hotel has a very average star rating but it was my only reasonably priced option (NZ $206 for 1 night) for a last minute booking. I was happy to over look a dated decor and a bit of wear and tear but this room was next level. Thankfully the bed linen all looked clean and the bathroom was grotty but ok. "
"We loved this location. March 11th to 14th,2026. The reception was there all the time. Loved their knowledge for the bus system and able to give directions. Personel touch worth every nights stay. Nice siting area and restaurant. We did have to turn on fans to keep it cool for our likening, and everything's in place to do the job.
Walked five minutes with our luggage to the AirPort Express bus. So perfect. Walked to bike rental spot lovely wharf system and amazing museum. Walked over to tram and botanical garden and over to the beehive. Governement building. Had lovely coffee and biscuit snack. Great three days at this location.

"The staff of the property were so helpful, they cleaned our room every day even though we did not expect it being an apartment hotel.
They helped me arrange a surprise birthday cake for my friend.
A lovely place to stay."
