"We recently stayed 5 nights at this beautiful hotel in the heart of the City and thoroughly enjoyed every moment of it. From the time we checked in to the time we checked out we were treated like royalty and every whim was dealt with quickly and efficiently. Our beautiful rooms had excellent views of Table Mountain and two restaurants on site offered excellent food options, with the Bombay Brasserie a must visit. The bar too is an excellent place to unwind after a long day. I can’t say enough about the staff …..everyone from the front desk, concierge, doormen, bar & restaurant staff always had smiles on their faces and were eager to please. We have stayed here before and will certainly do so again. "
"Home away from home. I stayed at the Commodore half time of my visit of Cape Town and I loved it! It is a bit pricy than other hotels but it is so worth it! First, great spacious, comfortable and quiet room with a view of the pool. Second, I enjoyed their awesome immaculate sauna and steam room + gym, which provide relaxing comfort. Lastly, their staff is attentive without being overwhelming and chasing you for tips, like in the other hotel I stayed. For example, I needed an extension with a converter to charge my phone and use my electric brush, and the maintenance gentleman (Edwin) came and helped and made sure my room was at the right temperature and I knew the channels to watch movies (so sweet!) thanks Edwin! Finally, the breakfast has so many yummy options that I did not have enough time to try it all. All in all, I would always come back. What a nice, cozy and well located hotel! "
