Millennium Hotel Sirih Jakarta
8/10 Good
"It’s a nice hotel with responsive staff, but you could tell it’s worn down a bit.
The breakfast was excellent.
I had a spacious room on the 13 floor, and it was very comfortable. The furniture was in good condition, but the bathroom could be refreshed. I wouldn’t call it a premium product.
Overall, I think it was a good value for money.
The major drawback is that there is nothing within walkable distance from the hotel, so you have to take taxi everywhere. A convenience store would be nice. The location itself is good though, close to major shopping malls."
"We could not fault our stay here. All the staff are amazing (could I make special mention of Tamara who went above and beyond). Our apartment was wonderful, new, very clean, quiet and very comfortable. The WiFi didn't miss a beat.
The rain maker shower was amazing and everything worked. It has a washing machine, small cooktop and microwave oven. The buffet breakfast has plenty of variety (local food) of good quality and service, and great coffee.
Just a short walk away is "Eat Street" where you can find all sorts of food - noodles, rice, sate, seafood, and a beer too!
The Ascott runs a complimentary shuttle to Sarinah nearby. There is an infinity pool on the 27th floor with a bird's eye view of MONAS. Spectacular on a clear night.
We highly recommend this place."
