Domus Liberius

10/10 Excellent

"This is a great choice if you're needing to be within walking distance of almost all of Rome's historical attractions, the train station and the metro, which makes the transfer from the airport easy. If you're looking for something near the great restaurants everyone talks about online, probably look elsewhere because most of the restaurants near here aren't that great. The check-in process was really convenient. They are only on the property between 8:30 and 13:30, so they have a 24hr WhatsApp concierge system in place which enabled us to check in virtually after our flight landed late. They will contact you after you book with all the WhatsApp info and recommend checking in with them before your trip. My advice is definitely do this at least a week before your trip. I waited until the last few days before my trip to contact them and had a little trouble getting my online check in done before my flight. The property feels very secure, needing a code to open several doors on your way to your room, and we had no problems with noise from other guests, though I expect that could be an issue during busier months. I feel like the owners do a good job of spreading people out as much as they can and we only heard people entering and leaving. The room itself has a mini-split type AC unit and a mini-fridge with access to a microwave and coffee maker in the reception area. Our only complaints were that the bed was too firm and the shower doesn't get very hot."

"Good spot for a Rome city break and excellent location Building work is ongoing and started from around 8am each day. Our room did not look like the pictures and was quite dark with no full length mirror. Lots of storage place. Cleaned daily, but the room was looking a little tired but as I say I believe a renovation is ongoing. Can’t comment on breakfast as this wasn’t included for us."

"The rooms were spacious and very clean. We had a king-size bed that was extremely comfortable. The location was excellent—just a short walk to the Colosseum, with plenty of great restaurants and shops nearby. We really enjoyed our stay!"

"Great location, extremely friendly staff, the room was a good size and we were able to get two single beds which was great since we were two friends travelling together. The morning breakfast was fine for being included, the coffee they made was fantastic."
