"This is overall a fantastic hotel and is probably in the best location in town. The staff are overall great, but there were a few hiccups. First, we had asked that the room be cleaned and also because we needed supplies replenished (for example, toilet paper), and they did not. Another miss was that we had ordered room service breakfast the morning of an activity we had planned externally. We waited and then called the room service line, and they told us that they never received the order after we placed it. This was a bit upsetting in the moment. There are definitely opportunities for improvement."
"The location of the Clayton was perfect for our first visit to beautiful Amsterdam. Tram from train station stops right in front. Hotel staff was wonderful from checking in to checkout. Our double room was clean and comfortable with two exceptions, bed was too soft and lighting to shave and do makeup was terrible. I hope they upgrade since we want to return soon! The breakfast buffet was very delicious and plentiful."
