National Exhibition and Convention Center is worth a pic or two when discovering Qingpu District. Our travelers also like the museums and art galleries in the area. It's also full of great shops and restaurants, so you can spend the afternoon having a wander.
If you like quiet time surrounded by flowers and greenery, hang out at Shanghai Grand View Park in Qingpu District. Want to stretch your legs some more? Head to Xujiahui Park and Zhouzhuang Fugui Park, both nearby.
Explore the great outdoors at Xujiahui Park, a lovely green space in Shanghai. Stroll along the lakeside or visit the temples while you're in the area.

Renaissance Shanghai Yu Garden Hotel on the Bund by Nanjing Road
10/10 Excellent
"Yeah the food is great, just little hard on the pancakes and waffles. Clean room, view is great, close to everything (malls, The Bund etc.). Staff Samantha in the reception is very accommodating, friendly and helpful."
"Overall, we did not have any specific negative feedback about the hotel itself. However we were disappointed with the pre-authorisation hold that was actually charged after we checked out despite us having pre-paid for the hotel. It's been close to a month and we still have not received the refunded amount.
At check-in, we were informed that the RMB 2,000 deposit (USD300) was a temporary pre-authorization hold (not charge) for incidentals that would be released upon checkout. However, despite having prepaid for our rooms in full, this amount was actually charged to our card the day after we had already checked out.
Furthermore, our check-in process took over an hour because the hotel was unable to retrieve our full reservation; staff could only locate two rooms despite our booking for three. This caused significant anxiety for my family and led to a substantial delay for a tour we had booked.
This experience has been very frustrating and below the standards expected of a 5-star hotel!"
"We were a little disappointed with the hotel. We booked an executive suite but it looked quite different to the photos (not as nice). Breakfast was not great - hot food was either luke warm, or cold, and none of the coffee machines were working properly and none of the staff rectified the issue.
The positive’s was that the bed was comfortable, the room was quiet, and the location of the hotel is very good.
If we return to Shanghai we wouldn’t stay here again."
"We highly recommend The Eton Hotel. We had a beautiful room facing The Huang Pu river and the city. The building is located close to the city centre and you can admire fantastic views straight after leaving the hotel.
The staff at the hotel were amazing. Our room was carefully and beds were made every single day. We were provided with fresh bottled wated. Breakfasts at the hotel were tasty and freshly prepared. My wife especially enjoyed waffles and pancakes.
We enjoyed our stay at The Eton.
We will surely come back!"
"The aircon was locked on heating making for an uncomfortable first two nights at 25.5 °C. Fortunately concierge sent someone to switch it to cooling mode for me. While a little dated, the room size was excellent as was the sauna."
