"The art inside the hotel was absolutely stunning! Front desk was very friendly. The hotel itself was confusing… there’s a paper that lists everything the hotel offers but finding said amenity on different floors seemed near impossible… Even the staff was unsure when asked where certain things were. Ultimately ended up giving up trying to play “where’s Waldo” and opted to stay in the room. Was only there for one night but would have loved
to explore more.
Secondly, free parking should be included with the price of the stay. It costs enough to surely be able to cover parking a vehicle in a lot for the duration of a stay.
Lastly, this fancier hotel was built in the projects in downtown Dallas. It’s one street down from a huge homeless population. Kinda felt like a slap in the face and a bit of a reality check about how cruel life can be. An upscale establishment almost in the heart of a population who has nothing but the bag they carry on their back…"
"The staff there was so nice! The breakfast was okay, the gym there was pretty well maintained and had the essential basics. I love that they offer complimentary ear buds for the gym. The place was clean."
"This was an amazing stay! We arrived in the middle of happy hour which we received 2 complimentary drinks from the bar! And there was a chip and salsa bar from 5-7. Check in went super smooth and the room was spacious and spotless!!"
