"Arrived late at our stay and then realised that we had in fact booked for the weekend after! Disaster after a 6 hour drive and very little options. We apologised and explained the error to our host. Amazingly and also luckily the host immediately went to work setting up an alternative glamping pod for us to stay in. The place was immaculate, hosts are extremely friendly and everything about the trip was perfect and as described. We will certainly be returning."

"Wonderful hotel, cant recommend highly enough. Great location on the south west coast path.
They offer a packed lunch for the next day which is definitely needed for the walk from Hartland way to Bude! "

"This shepherd's hut is in a very remote area. Some difficulty traversing the narrow country roads to get there. The view was lovely and the host friendly and accomodating. The bed was high and we, in our mid seventies, had to assist each other in and out each time.
All in all, despite the wet, windy weather, we had a sheperd's hut experience which we could not have in Canada. I think it would have been a nice area to enjoy in warmer, more pleasant weather."

"A lovely find hidden away off the main street. We only booked the room an hour before arriving but were made to feel very welcome by the young lady behind the bar. Breakfast was cooked by Phil and was delicious and he came out and had a lovely chat with us. I would highly recommend. "

"I have just had a lovely 2 night stay at Sunrise Guest House. The accommodation is spotlessly clean, the deco is nice and fresh and the breakfast was delicious with excellent choices! Kara was a welcoming host, very friendly but in no way intrusive. The location is perfect barely minutes walk to the town and only a few minutes away from the beautiful beach. Bude it’s self is a great location to explore this part of the coast with easy access to main roads!
