"Staff are friendly and helpful. It was 45 degrees every day so being able to get transport around the area during the day was great. Pool was open till 7. A bit later would have been good. Breakfast was excellent."

"The Golden Ocean was a pleasant stay. The staff were very handy and helpful at all times. The rooms / decor was a bit out dated but was still clean so wasn't a massive problem. The breakfast tasted nice however was a very limited selection. They had a good gym and swimming pool.
The location was good many taxis and local tourists spots in walkable distance and a mosque round the corner.
Overall happy with the hotel could do more for breakfast would definitely stay again!!!

"Excellent hotel near the Souq (historic center). My room was very spacious and it had a balcony with a great view. The service was excellent as well and they have a great gym. Too bad I only stayed there for one night (long layover in Doha) and didn't get to try their breakfast. The prices they charge for what they offer is also very reasonable."
