"This is a lovely place to stay and the host was gracious and went out of his way to help in every way possible.
I arrived on my bicycle and was able to put it into the secure garden area onto which the entrance of the property opened. There is a nice seating area in the open fronted barn, which is perfect for a quiet drink.

"Loved the Chateau! Great staff. Yes, its a little shabby around the edges (but can you imagine the costs to upkeep this building!). It has a lovely charm, the views from the terrace are absolutely stunning. Our room was huge, with a lovely balcony. We enjoyed sitting around the pool. There are tennis courts and also a spa (we didn't use, so can't comment on them). The restaurant is great and we had a wonderful supper the first night, but the only issue is that its a bit too expensive to eat...

"Great stay for visiting Chenonceau and near a great restaurant Aux Cheval Rouge. The family run experience is excellent. We were welcomed with pool towels and much need cold beer on a hot day. The rooms are very cute and quaint but have what you need. The breakfast is lovely and the grounds are beautiful. Great weekend getaway."
