"Really great spa and pool, room, and food. Some important details: no spa admission after 8 pm, it reopens at 10 in the morning. Restaurant kitchen closes after 8 pm too, but they still serve drinks and charcuterie. Some staff spoke English and it was helpful because the receptionist did not. Also the credit card machine at the reception wouldn't process Hotels.com charges in dollars (but the restaurant's card reader can do it)"

The young blonde lady (whose name I shamefully can’t remember) spoke fluent English, which helped tremendously, as my German is sadly very poor 😬. There were a few other members of staff who also kindly spoke a little English, of which I very much appreciated. "One could tell that in its heyday, this was a very busy place. But still holding on and very nice. Nothing fancy, but everything was clean and well maintained. The food was fantastic-one of the best meals I've ever had. "
