"Clean, quiet, nice place to stay. Was warm, no a/c but windows sky light windows opened and fan provided which made it nice and comfortable "

"The hotel looks a little shabby from the exterior however once you enter your room it is a whole new experience. The room was clean, had a coffee machine, comfy bed and pillows and flat screen TV. plenty of wardrobe space. Bathroom had a great shower, large lit mirror, hairdryer, heated towel rail and clean soft towels. Room had controllable heating too."

"The hotel is in a picturesque area, surrounded by ponds and a canal and is very quiet. We had a large room with seating and views over the water. It's not a modern building as it once was a working mill. The hotel has its own restaurant but there are others nearby and free parking closeby."

"The booking went well, but I had to go through booking online because the hotel was not easy to reach. But once booked they were available and very helpful. The room was immaculate, the staff were very pleasant. The atmosphere was friendly. So it's an establishment I would recommend. The owners are new and they wish to please their customers."

Small changes, like new carpets, an updated sitting room in the basement, and refreshed wall coverings in the dining area, would make a big difference. Overall, the dining experience was exceptional. The bed was comfortable, and the housekeeping staff kept the rooms spotless."

"We had an overnight stop at this property on our way back to the ferry. Our stay was very pleasant and the hosts were very friendly. The property was very clean and they catered for all needs, tea, coffee, water etc in the room and I even got a recipe for a wonderful courgette marmalade. The property is not too far from Vitre which is a beautiful town and definitely worth a visit."
