"Outdated decor. Rooms not cleaned. Dead flies, bathroom spiders web in the corner. Curtains not clean. Breakfast basic. No member of staff able to speak english. Lucky for me my daughter can speak basic German. Kitchen in suit has no cutlery, pans, cups or glasses. For some reason there was no rubbish bin provided."

"Although a bit disappointed at first (the hotel is not as the photos suggest in a castle, but next to it, with an internal corridor to it) we had a pleasant stay. Staff is very friendly and helpful, room a little small and outdated (who uses ISDN in 2024?). Breakfast was served in a big "ballroom" of the castle and was very good. Also tried the pool, not that big but good for a short swim. Close to the city although one night we had to walk a big detour as the main road was closed for a musical...

"No one at reception when we arrived at 8pm but # to call, he came within a few minutes and was very nice. Room was spacious and clean but felt like the 70s, no mini fridge and we weren’t given wifi password. Dinner ends at 9pm with only a buffet on offer, had seen better days by 8:20 we skipped it. Breakfast was adequate, extra charge for parking even though hotel is in the middle of no where, nothing close by. Spa looked okay we didn’t use it and the bar was lively, rooms very quiet and they...

"My room was clean and well-kept. Comfortable bed and excellent walk-in shower. Ample buffet breakfast is available for 17 Euros. The front-desk staff is helpful and friendly, and they speak English. The hotel location is convenient, just a 12-minute walk from the train station in Fulda. When a taxi is needed, the front desk makes a call and the cab appears in a few minutes."
