"Well it’ looked so beautiful nestled between mountains peaks topped with snow I was emotionally moved when I walked in my suite Balconies with tables and chairs Amazing views of the forest clad grounds and enormous pool which was the real highlight of the hotel It was run by hot mineral waters from under the earth at a bath warm 85 degrees The restaurant offers great buffet breakfast lunch and dinner The only thing missing in this dream place was a Unicorn "

"Our stay at Montenvers was great. The hotel appearred lovingly restored to it's original glory. It was a realitively easy and comfortable way to immerse in some of the most beautiful mtns in the world. The food was very good. The views from our room of the glacier and mtns were fantastic."

This hotel fit the bill for that purpose for a three-night stay, being no more than five minutes from the station on a very direct route. Didn’t realize that this hotel was in the sports center, which itself is quite impressive with a hockey rink three pools, curling rink, gymnasium, full gym and the bistro.
