"Absolutely terrific stay, just loved it. We stayed for one night while driving through France. The hotel looks just like the photos, it is charming and comfortable. I recommend getting the charcuterie board and a bottle of wine and taking it to the garden or side balcony. This was a highlight of the trip. "

"We had a wonderful stay. The room was comfortable and quiet and very clean. We arrived in town during torrential rain and were surprised by the host’s dinner offer on the premises. It was a superb meal! Breakfast was included with the room and again, the choices were amazing. Homemade yoghurt, jams, cakes and pastries were the stars, accompanied by local bread, cheese and ham. We highly recommend Hotel Belle Occitane and plan on returning in the future. "

"Situated in the centre of the small village of Seix. The owner, who spoke excellent english, was friendly and welcoming as were the staff. There was no restaurant but the cafe/bar served good tapas on the outside terrace. There is a restaurant next door, another just across the road and a dine in/takeaway pizzeria 30 minutes walk/few minutes by car away. It is an old building and the interior reflects this. "The entrance is on a quaint little square with a bunch of little streets coming in at odd angles. The hotel backs up on the river, and the breakfast room has an attractive view down the river to an old bridge, and up the river to the mountains. The stairs were attractive, so I didn't bother with elevator."
