"Great location relative but overall the property is a bit dated. Plus not sure have ever slept on a harder bed than they offered. Otherwise a nice enough place but not for what they want to charge per night. Still think of themselves as a luxury resort - it's not!"

The breakfast is functional and has some nice elements! I would have liked some more fresh fruit please! The bedrooms are spacious, quiet and have everything one would need. The team, everyone at Casa do Alfaro was kind, warm and helpful and lovely! The outside space is beautiful and views are wonderful. "

"The staff was pretty good, hotel its nice and comfortable but my big complaint is that they said that they have AC in their rooms and is not true. They have a box that simulate an AC thermostat but is just fake, there is nothing other than a portable fan, so we had a hot night."
