"Our stay here was fantastic. It is in a remote area but a good base to explore from. The drive and the views all around are spectacular. Its a lovely area of Germany.
The hotel staff are super friendly and make you feel very welcome. Thank you David for some great suggestions of places to visit.
The room was pleasant and very spacious.
There is an amazing spa a short walk from the hotel which a real treat at the end of a day exploring.

"Unfortunately we were only able to stay one night, but we had a great time. Rooms are clean and very comfy. Service is friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet has everything u can wish for and the dinner was very delicious. Will come back to test some wellness options. "

The room was very hot with no AC on entry, but a fan was provided and opening the window allowed fresh air in which cooled the room over night. There was a balcony with a beautiful view of the castle. A bottle of wine along with two chocolates and a welcome drink at the bar were offered on arrival, and a bag with water and snacks was provided when leaving. Delicious drinks at the bar as well. I also utilized the swimming pool...

The weather wasn’t great, but there was so much to do indoors that nobody was bored - tennis, table tennis, billiard, swimming pool, saunas, and a good gym! When the weather was good, we visited the volcanic lakes in the area - the autumn colours of the trees around were amazing in the sunshine. We loved the breakfast buffet which had a great variety of food on offer, and we also enjoyed the one...
